Market Studies — Advanced Signals (4/4)
In this video I’ll show you how to compare two series and how to combine existing signals.
Series Compare
Add Signal → Series Compare
Pick two series already on the chart (example: 20 DMA vs 50 DMA)
Set the rule (example: 20 DMA > 50 DMA)
Result: a regime that is on when the 20 is above the 50, off when it isn’t
Optional filter: single instance so you only mark the actual crossover, not the whole stretch while one MA stays above the other.
Signal Overlay (mixing two signals)
Add Signal → Signal Overlay
Choose two existing signals (example: positive GEX + MA crossover)
Choose the overlap condition
Common conditions:
Positive overlap — both signals must be active at the same time
Confirmation — first signal fires, then the second must confirm it
Extension — builds a regime between two signal points (from signal A until signal B)
The overlay becomes its own signal. You can hide the source signals and keep only the combined result.
How to use it
Treat these as building blocks. Compare any two series, overlay any two signals, then refine with filters until the regime matches your thesis. Analyze the final signal on the Signal Analysis tab.
