Portfolios Rebalancing Mode
Rebalancing Mode: A Smarter Way to Adjust Your Portfolio
We’ve introduced Rebalancing Mode to the Portfolio Tracker, making it easier than ever to plan and execute portfolio adjustments while maintaining full visibility into your strategy.
How It Works
- Enter Rebalancing Mode
Click "Rebalance Portfolio" to modify your positions just like in edit mode. This lets you adjust holdings, add new positions, or remove existing ones.
- Compare Actual vs. Target Portfolio
Use the Actual / Target toggle to seamlessly switch between your current portfolio (Actual) and your intended allocation (Target). This works across all views, including Risk Explorer and Correlations, so you can assess how your changes affect portfolio risk, sector exposure, and diversification.
- Confirm Target Allocation
Once satisfied with your adjustments, click "Set as Target". A summary of all changes will be displayed in a prompt. Upon confirmation, orders are generated and listed in the Orders & Trades view.
- Execute Orders - Select which orders you’d like to mark as executed by ticking their checkboxes and clicking "Confirm Execution."
- Confirmed trades will be recorded in your Trade History.
- You can also click "Edit Orders" to adjust the date, price, or amount before finalizing execution.

- Automatic Portfolio Updates
Once an order is marked as executed, the portfolio automatically updates, adjusting:- Position size
- Average ownership price
- Days held

Direct Trade Logging (Bypassing Rebalancing Mode)
For users who don’t need the full rebalancing workflow, executed trades can be logged directly:
- Click "Log New Trade" to bring up a trade entry prompt.
- Fill in the order details and confirm.
- The portfolio updates immediately to reflect the new trade.
This new Rebalancing Mode ensures full control over your portfolio adjustments while maintaining clear visibility into how each change impacts your strategy.
